About our Maternity photography sessions
Pregnancy is one of the most special times in a woman's life. I love capturing the natural beauty and radiance that emanates from my maternity clients. The feeling of joy and excitement shared with their partner as they are about to start the amazing journey of a new life and parenthood.
Where:
Maternity sessions can be held at your home for that lovely intimate look focusing on your belly. Or alternatively many clients love the natural look and feel of an outdoor session. There are some excellent parks, bushland and forests in the Brisbane area that are perfect for Maternity sessions.
When:
The best time to schedule the maternity session is at around the 32-36 week mark of the pregnancy. That timeframe ensures that the belly is nice and pronounced and perfect for photos and not too close to the due date.
For in home sessions, either mornings or afternoons can work. For outdoor and park/field locations, the late afternoon provides the best quality of light.
We also absolutely love when your partner and/or children are involved in the session too, so consider them when scheduling your session.
Styling:
For in home sessions, a selection of simple, form fitting clothing works well. Outdoor maternity sessions are great for those gorgeous flowing maternity dresses. We are happy to chat with you on concepts and ideas you may have for your session and suggest clothing to match the style you want to achieve.
Session Length:
Maternity sessions usually go for 1-1.5 hours.
Investment:
Our Maternity photography sessions start at $150, All Inclusive packages start at $450 and individual fine-art gift prints start at $60. Please contact us for a full list. Flexible payment plans are also available.
Booking:
Our session booking fee of $150 secures your session date. This amount is then credited towards your chosen photography package.
